Wednesday Mission Talk

SCHOOL STAFF INSERVICE PART 1

SCHOOL STAFF INSERVICE PART 2

A Series from the Parish Mission: St. Patrick Catholic Church Kokomo, Indiana...

Sunday Night – “We Were Created!” – This presentation takes an honest look at Humanity and God’s purpose for us. It will confront the current “World View” of Man and help us to understand why God would go to such lengths to save us from ourselves.

Monday Night – “Lies That Robbed Us of Our Dignity” – This presentation continues to reveal, with the Light of God’s Truth, just how we have been deceived and what is Satan’s plan for the destruction of our souls. This night of Spiritual Warfare will equip you with the knowledge you need to fight against this attack coming against you and your loved ones.

Tuesday Night – “Will You Marry Me?” – This presentation will zero in on the redemptive act of Jesus Christ on the Cross, through the paradigm of the Mass. The Mass is the Wedding Feast of the Lamb of God and is the vehicle through which we are brought to the eternal sacrifice of cross. This talk will illuminate what is going on in the Mass that we may not have the eyes of Faith to see with yet. You will come see in the Mass, the Cross of Jesus and His tremendous desire to love you.

Wednesday Night – “Christ Has Offered You An Invitation, Are You In?” – This presentation will connect the dots of our Sacramental Faith. What makes us different from Protestant Denominations? You will come to understand clearly what our faith is all about and learn how to enact your free will to truly engage in the faith so that you can experience the life of the faith, not just the obligation.

A Series of Talks from a retreat entitled Responding to the Battle Cry...held at St. Luke Men's Retreat in Killeen, TX on October 3-5, 2008

“Who Needs Evangelization When We Have The Sacraments?” This presentation takes a practical look at the Church’s Call for a New Evangelization as Promulgated by the Second Vatican Council and John Paul II. We explore the state of the Church and why this action is being sought by the Church Fathers. The relationship aspect of our faith is also broken open.  Click to Listen
“Evangelization…Isn’t That What Protestants Do?” This presentation clearly exposes the myths and defines what evangelization is in the life of the Church. It sets the stage for learning how to and motivating one to embrace their call to evangelize those around them. Click to Listen
“Spiritual Warfare, Satan’s Plan For Preventing Us From Evangelizing” This presentation is a sobering look at what we are up against in the battle to build the Kingdom of God. This will provide practical information on how all of us, Clergy and Laity, are often prevented from evangelizing others. Click to Listen
”The Great Commission Is A Command, Not A Request” This practical presentation helps to equip the saints for becoming simple “Tools of the Moment” in their homes, parishes, and community. We will work to recognize that not only can they evangelize, they were created for it! Click to Listen

St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Yorkville

Mission Talks 2009

"Are You In?, All the Way In?" This presentation will be evangelistic in nature as St. Paul references numerous times throughout his writings that “in Christ” we are a new creation! Download/Listen
"The Formation We Don't Recognize" This presentation invites one to consider the ways in which the world forms us, and shares pratical ways for us to examine this formation's affect on our spiritual walks with Christ.
"From the Law to the Holy Spirit"
This presentation will help everyone connect the dots of the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation. This is not a teaching on those Sacraments, rather, St. Paul’s understanding of what happens when we come to KNOW Christ personally. When you see this, you will understand how to better use the fruits of those sacraments today!

Station of the Cross Radio Station in Buffalo, NY sponsored a Women's Retreat for the city's Catholic Community. Dcn. Ralph was the sole presenter for the weekend and these are the five talks given on the weekend.

Woman, the Apple of God's Eye This opening talk examines the creation of Eve and how that impacts Adam and the world. This act of creation gives us an awareness of what God sought to accomplish in his creation of Eve. Woman came second and God planned it that way...curious as to WHY? Listen to TALK 1
The Legacy of Eve This second talk is a practical look into the consequences of original sin on Humanity. In particular this talk examines the difficulties women would now have to deal with in their attempt to live with the original sin. Listen to TALK 2
Hide and Seek It is truth that all women long to be desired and pursued but they also often hide from others...This talk examines why - and gives an illuminating look to the wounds women have and how they impact their everyday lives.
Listen to TALK 3
Safety in the Father's Arms This fourth talk speaks to how the Heavenly Father pursues His daughters and desires them to return to the safety of His loving embrace. Listen to TALK 4
Mother Mary is the Map Throughout the retreat it was important to note that we can not discuss authentic Womanhood without focusing on the one who was full of Grace.  In Mary we find for both men and women a map, if you will will, for the direction we should go to become all that we were created to be. She is what women should aspire to become.  In the Blessed Mother we see a capacity for a true loving relationship with God, and this is what the final talk explores. Listen to TALK 5
